Podhoretz, defending Limbaugh, blasts Foxman's 'chutzpah'
Accused of "borderline Anti-Semitism," Rush Limbaugh responded in his own voice on his show today, saying the context of his original remarks about Wall Street and Obama made clear that he was referring to the views of bigots, not to his own views.
He's also got a statement up in his defense from the neoconservative icon Norman Podhoretz, whose most recent book is called "Why Are Jews Liberals?" [More]

Abe Foxman has been slow to target Islamic jihadis as enemies, while reluctant to let go of his conviction that pro-Israel evangelical Xians are false friends. Stuck in the past, he warms up to the Left but is cold to the Right-- very typical, and foolish, Jewish instincts.
It may also be a case of power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely: Foxman's salary is $532,278 and ADL's annual budget is approx.$50 million, and many big givers to ADL are doubtlessly old school Democrats. Think of those wealthy Jewish retirees in South Florida and southern California where they voted big for Obama...
