(IsraelNN.com) Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu will not honor deals signed by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert if he is chosen as Israel’s next prime minister, according to Mekor Rishon. Netanyahu explained that he sees the next national elections as a referendum on Olmert’s negotiations with the Palestinian Authority. If the elections show that the public is unhappy with Olmert’s agreements with the PA, Netanyahu said, then he will not force Israelis to accept a deal they do not want.
Netanyahu is currently predicted to win the next elections with a large margin. Senior officials in Olmert’s Kadima party and the left-wing Labor party have hinted at the possibility of a merger in order to block Netanyahu from taking power.

As an American, I've watched Olmert and his party, and the Labor Party, cruise on down the wrong path to weakening the state of Israel. Perhaps the strength and conviction of Netanyahu can bring you back from the brink of disaster. I can only pray that it's not too late.
