From JRT sources:
This was a well-organized event. The choice of the political speaker was a good one -- this was Congressman Steven Lynch, the first one in Massachusetts to support Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act.
Russian Jewish Community Foundation of Massachusetts was very visible (click on pictures to enlarge):
At Copley Place and during the march
About protesters: almost no Palestinians. The anti-Jewish, anti-American crowd consisted almost exclusively of local, American or rather anti-American freaks.
Note the sign -- Terrorism is Resistance. The sign was held by a very disturbed lady.
Could you tell where the real animals are?
Russian table was the busiest one:
Finally the best: Watch this video -- Russian Jews know how to have fun and how to attract attention.

I was disappointed with the event's attendance. We had about two thousand people in my estimate (I know some people put the number at 4 thousand). But this is a far cry from expected 25 thousand. Where our allies? We are always at our folks' parades. When are they coming to ours?
CJP distributes tens of millions of dollars every year for various programs. Where are the recipients of this generosity? I saw a large number of Russian Jews (in my estimate, over 20%). Do they get their fair share?
I have been going to Boston Celebrates Israel ever since I came to the US in '78. In the eighties the crowds were certainly much larger. Are we losing support for Israel? Is the message not being delivered? I wonder why.
